Color & my Logo

Image
I think this color palette could work for my design because it is simple and elegant but I think that it is also slightly bare and plain and it doesn't standout   I chose the blue color because blue is a calm and cool color and my design is the moon rising on the sea and both the moon and sea are scerien, powerful and magical and the blue is able to provide the viewer with a scence of  inner peace and tranquility, just like a beautiful moon rise on the water. This is why I chose this palette color and why I think this it works with this design

Illustrate a word

Image
What is one piece of peer feedback you received in small group critiques that you found helpful about your sketches? How did it influence your design? That they liked the thin, cursive and the spirals in whimsical the most, and that I should have all uppercase letter except for the i in frantic How did you try to creatively show the meaning of your word without relying on imagery? Explain the decisions you made about font, scale, spacing, position, etc. for frantic i wrote it in scratchy, bold letters that overlapped in some places and had loose line coming of the letters. for whimsical i wrote it on a curve and with swirls so it felt like it was dancing I used the create outline tool and using white aroww to select individual ancher points to make flow together

Letter Design

1.) I chose to create this design because it spoke to me and I thought that, in away, it represented a part of me  2.) I would describe the style of my design as a classic, formal, and old design with a elegant, and natural artistic twist. 3.) I believe that using acrylic paint as the medium supported the design by giving it a solid defiant look that makes it feel real.
